Web Changes
This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.
- We’ve switched Servers for the Website. Now all the Photographs of the Repossessions will be stored on the same Server, so there won’t be any delays in viewing the Photos.
- DMV Listings have been brought up to date. They seem to change every 3 months...
- The Lists of Repossessed items for sale now have "hyperlinks" that lead to a "detail" page, where more information on a unit can be presented. This opens up the way for Photo's of the units to be posted in the near future.
- Added forms to several pages to make it easier for Client's and Customers to request information or make their views known.
- Items that are in our "Highlights" section now have images on the home page for easier viewing.
- All references in the website to "Auctions" have now been changed to "Sales" to better reflect the nature of our business.
- The web site has changed design and format in an effort to keep up with our internet services. Customer's web Bookmarks will have to be changed.
- Sales Department is now actively updating the Highlights pages with photographs and short descriptions. Also, customers can request digital photos of specific units listed in the Sales sections. (Bottom of each listing page...)
- The web site has shifted servers, and some of the graphics & links were scrambled for a short time. Hopefully, it didn’t cause too many problems.
- The previous printed version of the July 2001 Newsletter has been added to the site. A new edition will be coming along soon.
- Notice of the Result of the T-Shirt Sale/Donations added to the Website.
- Hardware Firewall added to MCS Internet Connection for Security.
- MCS supports the Walker Police Department in T-Shirt Sales to raise money for the victims of the horrific New York World Trade Center Attack.
- New Website style to match the MCS logo and sign.
- Added Collections Department section with Phone number extensions and E-Mail links. Useful information for Clients.
- Added Staff Page with Phone number extensions and E-Mail links. Created a space for the Collections Department’s pages and information.
- Second Server added to the Office Network for Security.
- Added Consignment Sales Info page to web. Will soon be posting consignment units on web with possible photos.
- Added DSL Internet Service for continuous and speedy access to our Client’s email, and to handle our electronic document distribution services. Completed the storage lot expansion; adding another 1 & 1/2 acres of paved, secure, parking area.
- Installation of a newer, faster, Server with a full RAID system for redundant data protection.
- Internet Postings are now highlighted with symbols to draw attention to new items or price changes. Units without any Client suggested prices are now noted in the listings as Taking Bids.
- The buyer’s FAQ page is now available.
- The Sales Department at Michigan Creditors has started working on the FAQ, so we now have information there that will be of use to our buyers. Internet Postings of Units are more frequent, and are more accurate.
- Michigan Creditors has implemented a full range of E-Mail services. Please check out our “Client Services” section. You can now contact the various departments of Michigan Creditors directly. See the new Contacts page for addresses.
- Creation of a DMV page with links to all 50 State’s DMV sites. Laws, regulations, and online forms are available at many of these sites...
- Michigan Creditors upgrades all their computers and installs full Internet Service and a fast 100-mbt network. Window’s 98 is installed. Part of year 2000 compliance
- We’d like to welcome Chase Bank to our list of clients, and thank the representatives of Chase Bank for choosing our services.
- Our "Client Services" section is now open and available for use. Clients who are interested in On-Line Services are invited to view these pages
- After all the snow and other interesting weather, things are getting back to normal. Thank you for your patience...
- We have a new item for the Consignments page. Please take a look and see if it's something you are interested in...
- Consignments Page and Special's Page are temporary discontinued... MCS Office Personnel do not have the time to provide updates. Hopefully this will change in the near future.
- We have added a section called Specials or Highlight Of The Week which is located in the Sales Section. This area Highlights displays photographs of Repossessions and Consignments that we wish to call the public's attention to. These items may have had their prices reduced, they may represent good bargains, they may be in excellent condition, or they may be featured here at our Client's request.
- We added some recent Photographs Of Our Office and storage facility. It may help you identify our building when you come to see us, or it may give you an idea of the variety of items we have available
